AGM on Wed, May 8 at 7 pm

The Kaslo Curling Club is a registered non-profit society, and our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be on

Wednesday, May 8 at 7 pm at the club.

Members will be voting on a resolution to purchase new curling rocks at this AGM.

Members are always welcome at the AGM to learn more about the club “behind the scenes”, and/or run for a position on the Board.

Eligible voting members at this AGM are those that have paid their $25 membership for the 2023-24 season.

The purpose of an AGM is to:

  • Give members a report on the organization’s activities and finances for the previous year
  • Allow time for members to ask questions
  • Elect members to the organization’s governing body (the Board)
  • Discuss business matters and address resolutions
  • Allow participants to question the Board, vote on organization issues, choose new directors, and interact with each other

Your current Board is:

  1. Bryan MacMillan
  2. Darryl Slobodian
  3. Kathy Alexanders
  4. Dan Quigley
  5. Al Barclay
  6. Rosanne Benko
  7. Brian Purcell
  8. Linda Van Mill

All Board positions are 1 year terms ending at the AGM, and the Board must consist of a minimum of 5 directors.
