The Kaslo Curling Club is a registered non-profit society, and our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be on
Wednesday, May 8 at 7 pm at the club.
Members will be voting on a resolution to purchase new curling rocks at this AGM.
Members are always welcome at the AGM to learn more about the club “behind the scenes”, and/or run for a position on the Board.
Eligible voting members at this AGM are those that have paid their $25 membership for the 2023-24 season.
The purpose of an AGM is to:
- Give members a report on the organization’s activities and finances for the previous year
- Allow time for members to ask questions
- Elect members to the organization’s governing body (the Board)
- Discuss business matters and address resolutions
- Allow participants to question the Board, vote on organization issues, choose new directors, and interact with each other
Your current Board is:
- Bryan MacMillan
- Darryl Slobodian
- Kathy Alexanders
- Dan Quigley
- Al Barclay
- Rosanne Benko
- Brian Purcell
- Linda Van Mill
All Board positions are 1 year terms ending at the AGM, and the Board must consist of a minimum of 5 directors.
