2019 Bonspiel Update

  • The SCHEDULE IS UP.   Play starts Friday at 4 pm.
  • Sadly, we ended up having to go with only 14 teams.  Accommodations were tough to come by this weekend and a couple of out of town teams had to drop out.  We will get this sorted for next year, we promise!
  • Erin will be offering a Ukrainian style dinner at the club with cabbage rolls and perogies on Friday night for $15.  She will only be making 20 dinners, so let us know if you want to reserve a plate at kaslocurling@gmail.com.  Out-of-towners who don’t know when they’re arriving may especially want to consider this, as Kaslo’s streets (and restaurants) roll up at 9 pm.
  • Did you know we’re on Facebook?  Help Rosanne keep it up to date with the latest and greatest news and photos, or email kaslocurling@gmail.com.

Pennywise wins… an end!!!

Congratulations to our novice Pennywise team for winning their first end in only their second game!

Pennywise is learning quickly, so curlers are reminded that practice ice is available 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday nights through December 4.

Anyone interested in trying curling is also invited to come out on Tuesday nights. All equipment and instruction is free.

Email kaslocurling@gmail.com to arrange an alternate time to try curling, or to book the ice for a fun event with family or friends ($50 for 4 hours).

You can email kaslocurling@gmail.com if you would like to be added to the League spares list, or new curlers can ease into the club by dropping in on Tuesday/Thursday afternoon curling.
