The Kaslo Curling Club was saddened by the sudden passing of Dennis Jensen, a lifetime club member, on October 16, 2019.

Dennis was an avid curler and an indispensable volunteer at the club for decades, including the building of the current Kaslo Arena and Curling Club in 1975.  His curling knowledge and commitment to Kaslo helped give us the great ice and facility that we have today.

A reception to remember Dennis was held at the club on November 9, and we were touched that his family felt strongly that this was where loved ones should meet to reminisce.

Dennis continued to support curling in Kaslo even after his passing with donations of $525 being made in his memory to the Kaslo Curling Club.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, and to the Jensen family for suggesting that donations be sent our way.  We hope the ice is always keen with 4 feet of swing where ever Dennis is curling now.
