Practice ice is free to all members and will be available on ONE sheet on Monday and Tuesday nights from 6 – 8 pm until Dec 12.   

Novice Night will be running on the other sheet so politely avert your eyes as they figure the game out.  :-)

Update: Monday AND Tuesday nights are a GO! There’s still room for a couple more curlers each night so please email kaslocurling@gmail.com if you’re interested. No experience necessary, all equipment provided.

We are starting a weekly Novice Night for first and second year curlers on Mondays or Tuesdays from 6:30 – 8 pm.  No experience necessary!

The goal is to have fun and learn the game through play with others who are all making the same mistakes.  There will be experienced curlers present to supervise and advise as needed on everything from etiquette to delivery, sweeping, and calling the game, but they won’t be playing.

Games will be 4 ends initially and increasing to 6 ends as you get the hang of it.  Fees are $35 for 5 weeks.   A $25 annual club membership is required.

This is not a drop-in session.  Players will be on teams and expected to play each position on their team (badly) at least once.  :-)

Novice Night will start on Nov 13 and Nov 14 for 5 weeks and then continue after Xmas if there’s still interest.

Thursday, Nov 2 afternoon drop-in is cancelled due to a private function at the club.

The club will still be open Tuesday, Oct 31 for drop-in as usual from 12:00 – 2:30 pm.

League games will be played at the amended start times both Thursday and Friday.
