Learn to Curl & Practice Ice

All curlers are asked to read and respect the Return To Play Guidelines.

Learn to Curl (drop-in, free, equipment provided, age 16+)

Thu Oct 8: 1 – 2:30 pm

Tue Oct 13: 6:30 – 8 pm

You will be instructed in the basics of the game with an emphasis on learning delivery of the rock. Stick curling is also taught, so if you can walk then you can curl!

Practice Ice

Practice ice is free to all members.

Tue Oct 6: 12:30 – 2:30 pm, 6:30 – 8 pm

Thu Oct 8: 12:30 – 2:30 pm (one sheet only after 1:30 pm), 6:30 – 8 pm

Registration 6:30-8:30 pm on Friday, October 2

We’re keeping it low-key this year because of COVID so we’re encouraging registration by email to kaslocurling@gmail.com, especially for returning members.

But that doesn’t work so well for folks new to the club, so you’re welcome to come down this Friday night between 6:30 and 8:30 pm to get to know us, or bring friends that are curious about curling. If you just want to come down and take a few slides then you can do that too.

Please register by October 4 if you wish to play in the Thursday/Friday league, either by email or on Friday night. Let us know your teammates or skip or if you have a partial team. If you’re looking to join a team, then tell us your preferred position. We will start finalizing teams after October 4 and plan to start Thursday/Friday night games on October 15.

All curlers are also asked to read and respect the Return To Play Guidelines.

AGM on Wednesday, Sept 30th at 6:30 pm

All members are invited to our:

Kaslo Curling Club AGM on Wednesday, September 30th at 6:30 pm at the club.

Are you a non-member and curious about curling? Send us an email at kaslocurling@gmail.com and we’ll get you started!

Non-members are also welcome to attend our AGM (they’re usually pretty short), and ask questions afterward. Our registration night is a bit of a question mark right now because of COVID (normally it would be October 9th), but we’ll post stuff here as we figure it out!
